As our region increases in diversity, we believe in being inclusive by embracing other Hispanics/Latinos and other cultures. We have expanded our vision by becoming a regional program. PRCC promotes the Hispanic/Latin cultural arts and education which includes: music, visual arts, performing arts, mixed-media, new media, culinary, language arts and literature for everyone in the region.
In our nearly 40-year history, PRCC has advocated for thousands of people. Through our three pillars; education, empowerment and enrichment, we continue to serve and establish a tradition that has the potential to enhance the lives of many.
Today, we are poised to implement programs designed to meet the economic, cultural, and social needs of our community. Some examples of these implemented or soon to be launched programs are:
- Women’s Leadership Conference
- Parent and Teen Relationship Focus Groups (Por ahi dicen)
- “The Artes” program
- Microeconomic Development for Artists
There are literally hundreds of Hispanic/Latino artists in the Western Massachusetts region who are ready to teach and perform their craft. We want to make this happen.
Your consistent monthly or annual contribution allows us to sustain and create programs for all in the areas of:
- Cultural arts
- Language arts
- Economic development
PRCC is a volunteer organization lead by a director and a board. Our monthly expenses are maintained at a minimum so we can invest in our community. We are proud to say that 90% of donations will be used for community based programs and 10% will be used for administrative expenses.
If you are an artist, business/corporation or individual wishing to make a donation or becoming a member please view the different pages under the “Donate” tab.
